The audit process, end to end

A clear path from first scoping call to board-ready findings—designed for safeguarding controls on e-money client funds.

Structured review documents on a desk
  1. Scope the safeguarding perimeter

We confirm which products hold relevant funds, which bank accounts sit in the safeguarding structure, and which systems feed the daily close.

  2. Map duties to controls

Segregation, access, reconciliation, shortfall funding, and escalation each get an owner, a frequency, and an evidence expectation.

  3. Sample and walk through

We select ordinary and stressed days, re-perform reconciliations, and sit with preparers and reviewers—on-site in Wan Chai or remote.

  4. Rate findings and brief leadership

Issues are rated by client-money impact and detection delay, then presented with owners and realistic remediation windows.

  5. Optional re-test

When you close items, a follow-up review re-samples evidence so the board can see what actually changed.
